Premier's Be Active Challenge

Waikerie Lutheran Primary School encourages all students to take part in the Premier's Be Active Challenge.

The Challenge is to do at least 60 minutes of physical activity on at least 5 days of the week for at least 4 weeks. Participants will need to record their activity either directly on the website or on paper by downloading an activity log. from the Resources and Downloads page.

Participants who take parti n 4 weeks of daily physical activity will be rewarded with a medal.

After 10 weeks of daily physical activity the school may be rewarded.

Premier's Reading Challenge

What is the Challenge?

The Premier's Reading Challenge is a literacy engagement program that was introduced by the Premier in 2004 to:

  • Encourage students to read more books and enjoy reading
  • Improve literacy levels.

The Challenge requires students to read 12 books between the beginning of the school year and early September.
